This English fully hallmarked photo locket in 9ct yellow gold has an ornate decorative bale and has a screw on/off mechanisim at the top of the bale to place your photos of lost loved ones or mementos in.I think it is either late Victorian or early Edwardian as this style was very popular from 1890 to 1910.I think the glass is a replacement- the original was rock crystal possibly.
