My parents taught photography and we had a dark room in our laundry room for black and white photography. These are well worn and well loved. Purchased sometime in the 50s.

Thats a treasure! Very,very nice. I am jealous.
I liked what I read and I too have a parent who purchased a Leica 35mm in 1948 and it has not been out of the case but once since I found it when my father died. I took some pictures in the dark in Germany in 1948 and I remember to my supprise how great they turned out. I have it on my desk collecting dust.
