I love the simple design of this brooch. The light coloured round amethyst is set in silver. I purchased this from a charity store recently for $8.00 which I thought was a bargain.I am unsure if the clasp is a trombone or not?I think it is a 1930s or earlier there are no stamps that I can see.
Very pretty brooch, I think earlier than the 1930s, judging from the hinge. Not a trombone clasp. A trombone clasp slides in and out.
