This is my Tuesday morning thrift shop find.It is a large silver and marcacite lobster pin.
Measuring 4 inches and is quite heavy .There is no makers mark but it is stamped 9.25 in 3 different places. It was priced at 4.00 and will make a great addition to my critter pin collection.

Thinking about the posts of 4" critters....maybe from 1980's, and worn close to a shoulder because the clothes had big shoulder pads. Well, 40's and 50's brooches could be this big too - a dramatic statement on a trapeze coat or a fitted suit jacket.
