Hi, folks... I bought these at auction about 3 years aggo, and I cannot identify the country, let alone the maker. I'm guessing England, but I really have no idea. Any clues?

Very nice indeed - at least I think so just by looking at your pictures. Can you tell me what is depicted on the items?
I'm sure one of our pottery(?) experts will come by soon.

Picture of 2 vases together, is something impressed on the top of vases? Look at the closeups, can see something on both vases???

Gillian - there are rustic country houses and scenery depicted.

Dave - indeed, there are impressions on the vases, but I can't tell what they are. My vision isn't up to the task.

My guess is Middle European or French. The houses are similar to some I saw in rural Bavaria and Austria. I don't recall seeing all that many evergreens in Alsace... I just don't have much confidence in my guess.
