I found this at our local rummage round up where people rent tables and sell their junk.The Lucien Picard Watch box was in another cardboard box that was filled with misc junk sitting on the ground.It was priced at 4.00 so I decided to take a look inside .I opened it up to find this vintage stainless and gold Rolex watch. I thought this must be one of those knock off replica watches but still worth the 4.00.
A few days later my partner took it into our local jeweler/Rolex dealer who said it was the real deal.It is a vintage 18 kt and stainless watch.It just needs a good cleaning to get it back in running condition.Needless to say you can find almost anything at a rummage sale if you take the time to look .
Even with all the information out there, people still throw away/sell for a pittance highly desirable objects. If you don't look, you don't find!

Yes it was!!!! I could never afford to shop retail for one of these!!!
Forgot to say, so much people have the junk and think they have treasure, and this can happen in the same booth :-D
Kyra, That is so true!!! I attend a lot of sales where they price their ordinary things sky high and rare items for a small price!!!
