    I found this delicate necklace and pendant at my local thrift shop this morning.It looks quite old to me and both the pendant and chain are stamped 14 kt.

      This was an expensive item in it's time. I don't care for pearls, but I do love this necklace.

      Will be great to see it when it's all cleaned up, I can see why they thought it was costume. But really, the stamps are right there, sheesh! Nice buy! :)

      It looks to be from early 20th century. In that case if the pearls turn out to be natural, not cultured, you'd really have a great score.
