I am trying to identify the meaning of all the symbols.
So far I've found a few of them from online posts of Turkish rug symbols–
    - Woman
    - Swan (marriage and fertility)
    - Wolf's mouth
    - Scorpion
    - Ram's horn
    - Running water
If you know more of the symbols, or if this type of blanket (mats or kilim) was given as a wedding present. please let me know.

    Specifics:
    - Approximate size 38" x 54"
    - Hand woven, fringe on one end
    - Cream/off-white natural wool, with natural variations in woven strands
    - Hand embroidered with multiple color and multiple types of yarn/floss

    Unsolved Mystery
