    This is a huge gold cameo of shell man on agate. The back has woven blond hair. Over 3 inches tall. May be Georgian.

      Are there any marks on gold mounting? Sometimes it takes time to find one and they may be very small.

      You can date the cameo from the type of hinge used. I can't see it that well in the photo.
