    This is an Ambrotype picture I obtained. It is of a child who appears to be very young. He has some type of uniform on as well as a Kepi with the letter C on it. Possiably a drummer boy or a child of a solider???A pretty cool picture

      Without a drum present or some provenance, I wouldn't call him a drummer or a soldier.

      The jacket while suggestive of a uniform is more typical of civilian wear and was common during the Civil War era.

      Scott thanks. Was not suggestion he was a drummer boy only the possibility.
