I got this peice at a vintage store in Portland a year ago, never seen anything like it, but I'm a young collector-I'm only 20 years old so I was not around in the 70's (I believe the tag said 70's swag lamp, but I've bought 3 swag lamps in the past year so I'm not sure, it was either 60s or 70s)
Its a foot and a half tall, id say over a foot wide (do not own a ruler) the plaster/ceramic makes it fairly heavy, I was initially afraid of hanging it fearing it might fall and smash because the thickness and hollowed shape seems breakable (I have it over my couch just in case)
I wanted to possibly know where/when its from? I love this peice, I'm just curious to know the manufacture. Its made of either plaster or porcelain, the yellow cylinder inside is plastic. Its one of my favorite lamps, I dont want to sell it, but would love to maybe look for a second one. I spent hours online searching on google, nothing. No markings or brands inside or out either.
It was about 75 dollars, still works and everything!
Sweet piece. I would say the 60's // 70's era. No marks on it at all? As may be hard to find with Design. It is a real GROOVY lamp. I have not found a complete match yet, BUT here are some other types here. Some along that line:

Thank you! And I checked to the best of my ability, but nothing. I have been pretty careful with it and don't want to tinker around inside too much because the thick clay like porcelain (I think?) seems kind of breakable so I would be worried there might be any hairline cracks that I might make worse from being handled.
Funny enough, I instinctually Googled "groovy" as a descriptive word when searching because that's what first comes to mind when looking at it, there have definitely been some similar styles, with the openings, but I haven't found any with the curves and texture. Let me know if you find anything else out, and thank you!

It is a Sweet Piece. Is there anything on the Bulb socket at all? If you wish to look, if not that is okay as I understand
Today I took it down and checked everywhere on the inside, not even a "made in _" print, no wattage info, the current bulb burnt out so i need to get a new one, its a really tiny round bulb, I doubt that helps at all. The guts (not including the plastic cylinder) are yellow painted metal, the cord running through the chain is the original, obviously aged. Not sure what other info I can give, the seller said she picked it up in the 80s at a second hand shop here in Portland, she doesn't know the manufacturer either, and also says she hadn't seen many lamps like this growing up ( I'm friends with everyone at my local vintage store because I'm a regular, I can try an ask around more, most of the vendors are older and someone might know)
