Sometimes when it comes to flaws they can be forgiving. I say, find another and if I was that old, I'd have a few flaws too! However, I do understand when damage is not disclosed, it can be a very unpleasant experience. Lovely example, regardless and your pics look beautiful, imo.

hi glassie, the thing i disslike is people who sell as "perfect" no dammages"....
and as "client" we trust each other..... when wecant take it by hands.... for me it isan unfair situation, and mostly sellers are like this these days...... professionals are no more better for honnesty-)

well i'm engry with that because i'll try to build a collection for my future museum and will not show broken pieces .

      but "c'est la vie" -)

Réclamation!!! Try to have at least a partial refund for the misrepresented condition...
      Très beau quand même :-)

you know Paris this Auguste Jean are so expensive here in Argentine yet they are so pretty, a year ago I saw one in one of the big shops in San Telmo Buenos Aires, it was a pair of about 30 cm tall each, impecables (do not know the word in English) U$ 2000.-

Contact seller and tell them about your disappointment.

Based on your posting-- I'd want a liberal discount or I'd just return the piece since it was advertised as "perfect".
