    So a nice cockerel or rooster, italian, probably made sometime in the 1950s or early 60s. Colourful and animated. It has a kind of iridescent glaze, fairly typical of the period.

    I just love him, been in the family for a long time.

    I have included a shot of the marks on the base and was wondering if anyone out there in CW land have come across these marks before. I can only make out the word 'Roman' or possibly 'Romany'
