This has been in the family for about 40 yrs, on the back it states, It's # 54, Lt. General Thomas Jonathan ( Stonewall ) Jackson, April 1863, graphed by George W Minnes, It appears very old including the frame that has a burlap type inlay, I Can't Imagine the General sitting for 54 + of these at one sitting, Does anyone know if it's real or a fake done long ago, it measures at 16" x 20" I would appreciate any info sent my way.

It is hard to tell from the photos but the label on the back looks like it came from a pretty modern typewriter and as though it might be a label, which would also be of a more modern vintage but that could have been added later. The # could refer to an catalog or auction # . Cool picture.

Thank's blunderbuss2 , I have not been able to find out anything pertaining to this pic in regards to who did it ? How many copies were made ? When were they printed ?
Scott may be able to even tell you what Stonewall had for breakfast that day. He will be along or I will email him.

OK Scott, that's a reasonable enough excuse . LOL !
I think so-- most of the "work" involved the set up/ tear down and driving (8 hrs. each way).
I saw some great guns at the show. Some WW2 reenactors were burning rounds (blanks) through a BAR on Sunday afternoon at the end of the show!
It is not a weapon that I had heard fire before.

Scott, How modern of a reprint would you guess it to be ? do you know who made these reprints and when ? Dave
Probably printed within the last 30 years.
Buss-- I didn't see the BAR shooting, just heard the noise and a buddy said it was a BAR (he walked past it).

I saw it for the first time 20 yrs ago, my uncle bought this home in 1978 including everything in it, it was a Gold Mine, the Man who owned it used it for storage for many years, He passed and it was inherited by his sister who sold it to my uncle.
