A friend found this painting at a thrift store in San Diego awhile back (wow, maybe he DID pay .69 for it). He told me these watercolor guache paintings were popular tourist items - and Baja, Mexico - specifically Tijuana is San Diego's neighbor, so I think it came from there. She is a saucy dancer - painted beautifully by Vito. My guess from her look and the "bamboo" wood frame is made in the 1940's. Matted in 9x11 frame. Excuse glare in pic 2 please.
SamO's painting reminded me to post this.
