This is a fun item I picked up for mothers day one year.

It was in an antique store. The owner said it was Murano.

Believe it was $40. Different no?

At first glance... all I could think of it's not a boot made for walking to humor myself and then I read Sean's comment. OH, MY!!!! LOL

Can't say if it's Murano or not. I'm sure someone here can offer some help that has plenty of experience with Murano glass. Glass boots were produced in other countries for a number of years. I wonder what started the trend of producing a glass boots? Is it in association with the fairytale Cinderella or aka The Little Glass Slipper? Interesting find with a lot of vibrancy.

Thanks, for the humor!! Too funny.
