Comes from over seas . I think it is Asian not sure. Its a mask that hangs on a wooden plate of some sort. There is also something written on front plate, and there is a sticker on back. It is tied with a purple rope and a tan rope. It was made that way so not sure why the different colors. Anyone familiar with Asian art/decor?

Hi Crystal and Dave, this is not Kaabuki which uses exaggerated and sometimes heavy makeup. This is a Noh Kishin (demon) mask. The background plaque is 11 inches wide with an artist signature on the right side and the mask about 6 inches wide, not quite full size. Classic Noh theater is the oldest (from the 14th century) but Kabuki is the most popular. There is much to be found with searches of both forms.
