I found this pendant in the bargain section of a store. I looks handmade and is only marked 925. I think the speckled cabochon is some kind of clay, ceramic, or something else. I don't think it is a natural stone.

    Thanks for looking:)

Looks like Leopard Agate to me.

You are correct. But it feels too light to be a stone. I was thinking of scratching the back but I am not sure what to look for or expect - LOL

Agree with Bonnie. Or maybe a shell? Or egg shell? (that's a stretch, I know) I love it and the ball chain too. I'd take it to a shop that sells gemstones, rocks, beads, etc. and ask them.

That's so cool! Thanks so much for the link and solving the mystery, Celiene:)

I thought this was lightweight and not a stone?

It is lighter than other necklaces I have. Either my definition of "lighter" is wrong or the stone is not a stone LOL. (It could be an imitation)
Thanks for pointing this out, Mary:)

Hi Gudrun - well, I think it is dalmation stone as Celiene said because the marks look like that. It would be so cool to have eggshell jewelry and I'm sure someone has done it. :-)
