Inspired by Craig's post on Welz's Orange Yellow vases I thought I'd post this one.
I thought it was Czech but must admit that it being Welz didn't occur to me, I don't know why it didn't when I do know how varied Welz glass is.

    Thank you

I must say I thought Welz, but felt the same as you about the foot. Ask the judges!

The thickness of clear glass on the foot of a piece is more a function of the gaffer and the amount of clear glass gathered for the final casing layer before being blown in a mold. You will see varying amounts of clear on the feet of decors from many different houses. This is a little more than usual, but not something you will not see on occasion.

I meant to say that it is something you will see on occasion.... That was a really bad sentence... :-)

Thank you for the love and nice comments everyone. I wasn't sure of it at first, the shapes a bit weird, but its colours so bold and bright, like fire. Anne I must admit I hadn't noticed the thick clear casing until you mentioned it. I'll compare it to others I have. Craig, was that a double negative? It was a bit too of a tongue twister, lol.
