    I keep most everything hence I am an antique hoarder but with class (hopefully) anyway. These cars I found are older than what I usually find. Knowing metal was in short supply until the fifties, I am not sure when these were made. I would to hear from anyone who recognizes the tin penney cars of the wind up taxi. Thanks...

      What you have is a Tricky Taxi made by Marx. It is pre-war and your red litho is less common that the black and white version.

      THESE ARE REALLY NEAT, I HAVE THE TAXI & A BLUE ONE THE SAME STYLE AT THIS ONE YOU HAVE. I THINK THEY MAY HAVE BEEN MADE IN GERMANY IN THE 30'S. NOT SURE THOUGH!
