Pitcher is a Loetz, DEK III/115 and is signed. Blown of purple opalescent glass with an "Optic Swirl" pattern. The purple is intense at the rim and gradually fades to opalescent. The shape of the pitcher is bulbous with an embossed, "Ring" at the neck and the rim is a "Pulled, Scissor-Cut" edge. Hand painted enameling is purple stems with white flowers that have yellow button centers and brown dots. Hand painted gold accents are on the flowers and gold is outlined on the flowers with stems. Applied handle is colourless glass with a "Reeded" decor pattern. Polished pontil on the low footed base.
8" tall.
Rim is 5-3/8" x 4-3/8" diameter.
The low footed base is 4" diameter.
The bottom of the pitcher is 6" wide at best.
