This is from the same shop that yielded my RR Spirit of Ecstasy figure. I've written to the website "InfoFaience" to ask for more information, because these are not the typical markings found on a Sphinx creation. There is also an impressed capital "E" on the bottom.

Indeed it's a nice pitcher - oldish too!
I wonder how they survive? Must have either been tucked away or cherished.
karen - I think someone just had it on display. There was dirt and dust in the bottom, lol~!
NB - Sphinx has put out some really beautiful stuff over the decades. The factory location is only about 30 minutes from me. I the factory closed in the summer of 2015.
