    I placed a quarter next to this axe to show it's size. I somewhat think that it is a salesman's sample axe due to its attention to detail and quality of its design and material, but, in the past, I did have bonafied salesman's sample axes before, and, they all have plainly marked names on them. This little cutie does not have any markings on it. I know that it is common for some collectors to say that every small tool is a salesman's sample when they are in essence toy tools for a child's tool kit. This is why I hesitate to call it a salesman's sample. Maybe, I'll just call it a miniature axe and leave it at that.
