My new finds that are as pretty as intriguing. This is one of them that has a thicker mesh in gold tone. I don't see any markings but the color is in such nice quality that it might be gold plated (no mark that I can see of such). It has an adjustable height medallion that is anchor on the mesh setting. The medallion, emblem states Valley of Salina Kansas, with AA and SR on opposite sites of the cross. Back mark states that it was made by F.I. Gorton Co, No Attledore ? (cannot read it clear) Massachusetts.
I am trying to find out if the mark on the clasp is H.S.B Co or BSB? and some history behind the emblem. Very nice made with some level that squeezes the clothing to secure the attachment.
What does it means, how old is it, or if you can give me any inf. I am trying to get this mystery resolved but searching on the web gets me nowhere.
