Hi, I could use some expert help identifying the material in this ring.
I found this ring in a box of costume jewelry at a fair in Florida. I new it was silver from the stamp on the back but the head stone could be blue glass, blue Topaz, Aquamarine, Tourmaline or if I'm real lucky, Sapphire.
The material of the face is a lovely shade of purple and very hard but I have no idea what it could be. I haven't cleaned it yet but would love to wear it soon.
Could the style be Deco or Nouveau?
I would appreciate any help I can get on this. Thanks in advance.

Your ring is probably made in Thailand in the last 10-20 years. It's hard to discern the texture from your photos but the central component could be molded glass or dyed stone.
