      FOUND OWNER OF THE HOUSE!
      Thomas Hicks Barbee, Near Durham, NC
      Barbee was born in 1872 and died in 1932. The is speculation he had a school. Could the picture have been a school too--All those young men on the roof??

      Looks like you found all the information on the photo.

      Could be him (or house owner) on the bottom right-- man/ woman and young children. Looks like the other young men are all about the same age; so the school theory may be correct.

      The "JF Miller" is most likely the photographer of the image.

      Music was going on here too. I see 2 young men with a mandolin and a guitar on the front porch--some in uniforms here and there.

      The couple on the porch right in this photo are the same as the teacher/administrators? opposite sides at edges in my newly added group photo of about 50 gathered in the school children photo--and I think the house in the back of that newly added photo photo---- is this house! Getting somewhere> Barbee School, NC
