A small pencil sharpener made in the 1920s by the Automatic Pencil Sharpener Co in Chicago. This is the smallest of the three sharpeners they made. This one only has one rotating pencil cutter as opposed to the usual two. This one is doing well to have the thin plastic film that makes up the shavings reservoir still survive.
I'll need to mount it to a wall to get it to work properly. The walls are a bit uneven but hopefully I can find a flattish spot.

fortapache, very nice and in good conditions, love to see the small little plastic surrounding the blade system intact.
I have one similar made by Boston, coming from the Royal Bank of Canada.

      Regards
      Alan

Thank you very much Alan. Automatic and Boston were major competitors who did not get along well. Would love to see yours.

Thank you very much valenino97. I still need to put mine up. Been busy photographing and putting away my other pieces so I can have my dining room table back.

fortapache, I will keep this in mind , it's pack somewhere in my basement, I have so much stuff, this one still pack from my moving from Quebec to Ontario in 2005, I never unpack yet.

Alan I hope you find it soon. I moved to a place where I didn't unpack fully. It just didn't seem like home. Moved a few miles away and then unpacked everything.
