This enigma is driving me crazy...

This mysterious mark in shape of what I call Etruscan urn is encountered on high quality paste jewellery.

You can see from pics how similar is the construction, hinge, leaves stems ends and paste settings...

Knoll and Pregizer is now well documented through Robin Deutsch research.

As it appears Neiman Marcus produced, or reproduced, these K&P designs, it wouldn't surprise me if you come across more of these pieces. Beautiful! :)

Katherine, thank you for your input :-)
I wasn't able though to find a Neiman Marcus mark to compare, maybe some CW friends can find one link or image.

katherine, what is the source for the Neiman Marcus reference?
    10. davyd286, 3 years ago
If you're alluding to the monkeys pin on the Morning Glory site, their info describes it as bought from the NM Estate Jewelry dept, meaning "second hand" and unidentified maker. Neiman Marcus used to sell antiques (furniture, painting, etc) bought (or possibly taken on commission) from various dealers.

There's a Neiman Marcus jewelry mark here - but I can't read it!

Diamond, Emerald, Gold Clip-Brooch, Neiman Marcus
The brooch, designed as a horse head, features full and single-cut diamonds weighing a total of approximately 1.65 carats adorning the mane, enhanced by a round-cut emerald eye, set in 18k yellow gold, completed by a double pinstem and catch mechanism on the reverse. Marked NM for Neiman Marcus. Gross weight 34.70 grams.
      Dimensions: 2-11/16 inches x 1-1/4 inches

Yep, Gillian, looked at it, but nothing related to my mysterious mark...
Anyway, thank you for helping :-)
