    I acquired this piece from a dear friend. She has passed away but was a collector of folk art. I would love to know anything about this horse. Has anyone seen one like this before? It's about 16 x 40 inches. Thank you!

      A Dachshund horse ? Maybe a basket went on the centre ?

      A basket! I hadn't thought of that. It has these big notches in the bottom as if it fit onto something.
