This is a Lipton Tea tin from the 1930s. Originally it had a paper wrapper that went around the sides. Sadly the wrapper is missing. It has embossing on the top and bottom. It is 3 3/4"wide and 4 1/4" tall.
I drink a lot of tea which I keep in an old bread box. I use this tin to store loose tea bags. I believe this tin is from the days before tea bags.
