Kick around whilst searching for arrowheads that is.
This is some sort of geode I think. Has a bunch of quartz crystals inside.
As can be seen by the ruler it is about 5" long. It is a bit interesting as it has two sections. One is the round section which is mostly solid and a hollow section that shows some of the quartz formations.

We had areas where they were scattered over fields. As kids, we couldn't afford to have more than a few cut to expose the crystals, so just left them .

Don't remember finding any arrowheads in those fields but they weren't plowed either.
