    Hello,

I'm hoping to get some advice/help more info about this trunk I found. Its size is: 28in wide x 15in. deep x about 17in tall. It has the old wood smell to it, and the paper seems very brittle on the inside. The outside has some kind of metal...maybe tin? covering most of it? Not really sure :/

This was found at an antique shop in Red Wing, MN. I loved the size of this trunk, and I've not really seen one in this size anywhere. I'm hoping someone can tell me more about it?? I'm also hoping that this isn't some kind of "fake" trunk someone made as well... I plan on getting a piece of tempered glass cut for it with rubber bumpers, as well as having my father build a small base for it as well. (Not attaching either to the trunk)

Nice little tin and canvas covered flat top trunk circa early 1900's. There are more full sized trunks than these smaller ones -- but they typically are not too hard to find. Certainly an original piece -- without a maker's label it's hard to know what company manufactured it. Enjoy!
