Hi all! I have had so much fun looking through all of the posts on here! (Just recently joined). I thought I'd share my rocking horse bank. Bought it on ebay probably about 10-12 years ago. I have always loved it. I know nothing about it - all I know is it makes me happy when I look at it on my shelf!

      Welcome!
I love your horse too. Looking at the style and the Italy mark I wonder if this is Bitossi?

Thanks for the loves and comments! Racer4four - I poked around on the internet and yes, this does resemble the style of Bitossi, not sure how to authenticate but very interesting! Thanks for the input!

Oh, this one is just awesome!! I love it! This is definitely a true original. I'll bet that our CW friend AzTom can tell you a lot about this. Hopefully, he'll see this and comment.
      And welcome to CW-ville!!

      Scott,
I've looked around and this does look like a Bitossi / Londi design. (thanks racer4four!) - but who knows. I did send out some inquiries about it. We shall see. My hesitation is in the glaze/color. It almost doesn't seem varied enough in color. And also the fact there is nothing in this form out there. Either way - I love it! Thank you all for sharing your wonderful items!

racer4four - thank you so much for your suggestion on this!! I did some research and decided to send a request to Bitossi (Industrial Archives) to see what they thought. Guess what!? It is an Aldo Londi Bitossi - 1960-1963- and she had not seen one before. I never would have known to research it without you taking the time to express your opinion! And thanks to Scott , your comments also encouraged me to look further into this.

Racer4four/Scott - not sure if you saw my response here. From what I can tell it was identified by sketches?
