Can you tell me anything about this chest? I just bought this at a flea market and would love to know the history.. I'm going to try and restore it.

Hey, from the picture the only thing I can tell you is that your trunk was probably made around mid 1870's to early 1880's due to the horizontal slats on top and latches on the front.Without a trunk label hard to know who or where it was made, in my opinion american made. Good luck on your restoration!
