I am not too sure what this bracelet is made of. It could be carved bone. I am sure it has some age to because of the older elastic string. I found some on line stating that it was ivory and others that it was bone. I am not a betting person but I would put my money on bone because the lines in the back don't look like ivory to me.
I bought it because it has a romantic feel to it.

Alliececile and kyratango, thanks so much for your comments! I saw the lines but because the bracelet is just strung on old-fashioned elastic, I didn't think that it would be ivory. Isn't strange?
