I purchased these pieces at an estate sale. All pieces have POOLE on the bottom. All pieces are signed on the front by artist Mead. The hair receiver and powder box have BAVARIA on the bottom. The perfume bottle has GOA France on the bottom. The tray has no additional markings on the bottom. I am not sure what I have. I saw that someone was selling a vase with the identical Apple blossom pattern and indicated in was Limoges. I am confused. Same pattern, same artist, same Poole, different countries.

They were probably porcelain blanks from different companies and hand painted by the same artist. Pickard China and Stouffer of Chicago are two US companies that had decorating studios which did this, perhaps Poole was another? but some women did it in their homes as a hobby.

The mark is GDA for Gerard, Duffraiseix & Abbot, with a mark that dates to 1900-40.
Here is a link to an article on Limoges and other decorating studios, which also has links to museums which you can contact for more info:

I think you have some "marriages" of sorts. Mead is probably the artist of the piece, Poole is the company or area in which the items were sold. As to dating them, try http://www.porcelainmarksandmore.com

I think these pieces have always been together; painted by a talented amateur named Mead as a present for someone named Poole.
