I got this blue and clear egg paperweight in San Juan Bautista, Ca. and from what I can tell it says MSH ASH Vines 53. Or it could be MSH HSH Vines 53. I have no other information.

Correct --- MSH means Mount St Helens Glass ! Made with Volcanic ash from Mount St Helens.

Awesome, thanks swfinluv1 and antiquerose! I think it's pretty neat. Is 53 on the bottom the year it was made?

Mount St Helens erupted in 1980 so a number 53 on the base wouldn't refer to the year. To incorporate the ash from the eruption, it would need to have a number 80 or higher for it to represent the year.

I can't enlarge the picture very much on my phone. Could it be a '93' instead, with a badly written 9?

      It could be 93
