Just found this in an estate, it is a bird and a lizard clinging to a pot. Looks very nicely done but I can't figure out who this is made by. It has a stamp in clay attached to the bottom with a 465 in it. Also has a painted letter that may be a J. most likely the artist mark. Anyone seen one of these please let me know.
Such a lot of things going on here - love the bird, and two lizards. Leaves winding around. Beautiful. I just don't understand what looks, to my eyes, a toothbrush cup sitting on the base? Out of step with the fluidity in this piece.
