The more I dig into micro-mosaic jewelry, the more admiration I get for the patience and skill that made this jewelry. So I set already 4 years ago this stunning 18K yellow gold micro mosaic-brooch on CW which I named: My private dancer. A special and unique image in this technique.
    Measures: It's a large brooch of 2.5 x 2 " ( 6 x 5 cm)
I again like to share with you.

Hi Agram.m - Do you know when this was made?
    10. davyd286, 3 years ago
Gillian, probably mid-19th century and very likely based on an engraving by Bartolomeo Pinelli; he made many engravings depicting Italian folk costumes as well as folk dancing, his books came out in the first quarter of the 19th cent.
