If I had seen this vase in a plain decor I would have thought it Iwatsu.
If I had seen this decor on a baluster shaped vase I would have said Kamei.

    It's labelled Dolphin Glass.

    End my misery now!!!!!

Karen, it would seem that nothing is straight forward as far as makers go in either glass or jewellery!!!
This is rather interesting though.....and I think I actually like those colours!!!

It's definitely Dolphin Glass, I can see it's blowhole!

Now that's a statement piece, more art than glass, very striking. Thanks for sharing, Karen. :)

That last picture (#3) kinda looks like a First Baseman's mitt to me! [;>)))

Judy - I am constantly confused - not just with glass.....

Bill - a very Japanese style here - glad you like it!

      You too BB!

      Thanks guys :)

Always so incisive with your comments William. If only you could identify my other glass so accurately! Thanks for the laugh, and good for hear from Gracay.

Thanks Katherine. It sure is a statement piece. It states "Karen remains confused".

Well, we know the Japanese love baseball KJ!

Good eye there Bill. Yes it's the shape number.
My confusion is that this shape is a classic one by Iwatsu, and the colour a classic by Kamei. I am amazed that Dolphin combined both.

This is such an interesting vase Karen and is as unique as your other Japanese glass! The form is great, and I love the alternating colors against the black! Definitely a statement piece!

It could only be Japanese Rick. It's not a decor I am terribly keen on but it's grown on me (like a fungus/ nah...).
It is not shy, as you say. Thanks for commenting, always appreciated.
