I'm guessing it 1960s-1970s. I'm unable to get it out of the frame to determine what kind, but it appears to be an original high-quality print of Le Chat Qui Pêche by Guy Lombal, French artist born in 1930. I'm not able to find images of his original piece or another, but I'm also only assuming it says, "The Cat With Fish" as I don't speak French.
I don't really care for cat-art much, but when I saw this at the thrift store down the road from where my new used car (my old one I had to replace due to high cost to repair it again) was being serviced, I decided to throw down the $4 they wanted. I don't usually find interesting stuff at that particular thrift store, but I really liked this piece.
Mr. Guy Lombal is normally known for surrealist work, but this classic and realistic fish-and-cat piece is quite appealing. It is composed of many tiny dots and lines and looks a lot like ink (I love grayscale ink/charcoal work).
The fish are in a bowl, and the cat-- all save its tail-- is in its own bubble with them, which is off-centre.
The piece has wrinkled in the frame over the years but still looks quite good and may even end up hanging in my room.
Any information on this would be quite welcome.
It is "the cat which fishes". Poisson is a fish and Peche is fishing.

Thank you, Fort Apache. I've never really used the word "fishes" as "fish" is plural and singular (although "fishes" we used to describe multiple species of fish in biology.)
