    150mm x 150 mm small jug.
This was repaired with what looks like animal (horse?) glue, by my great great grandfather in Delft where they lived in Holland about 200 years ago.

It is a family heirloom, but I would like to see other items like this to verify its age and originality.

I think a visit to the Delft museum is in order! I don’t know where you live, but you can probably contact them and send photos. Unfortunately Delft has often been been faked, so without them seeing it up close, it would be hard to verify. If you live near any city museum, which has a Ceramics curator, they may be able to help.

Thanks Mary, that's a good idea! We live in country Western Australia, so a long way from Delft. I will try and contact the Delft museum. Failing that I'll try the WA museum.
      Thanks, Robert

It is beautiful, and quite different from the touristy productions you see today from the Delft area.
