    I have this Johnson Bros England dishes.... I can not find out about them. Date, where from , pattern...etc... can someone help me please. I have been told all johnson bros had crowns on it, but as you see this is all there is on back besides a Z stamped in the bottom before glaze. Thank you

      These all have gold rims on them and cups have pattern on inside

      They used a mark similar to this in the 1980’s but it said MADE IN ENGLAND, not England, but yours appear older than that, What is the black stuff on the back? Is it on all of them? Maybe marked differently as factory seconds?
