      i did think the same when i looked on some daum or other master glassmaker -) why they dis smoking trays? never putt cigarett on it-)

      i'm also suprised of some cristal cachepot.... how bizzare idea...

      Some of the Pierre Girre's moulds found their way to Sevres via Vannes Le Chatel and then Daum. I have a few post war pieces, later ones are acid marked Vannes or Sevres (never seen one signed Daum). I assume your cendrier falls into the period 1945-1955 when items were either stickered (labelled) or unmarked.

      d'avesn worked for the daum factory "lorrain" this could be some of production for daum but he also have his owm mold with his own signed pieces.
      and as you say it is much more after war production.
