1938 Telechron Model 8B11 Art Deco Bakelite Clock which went by the name Granada. This telechrom is maroon. Runs quietly, except when it changes the time, then it makes a lightly audible tick noise when the numbers rotate. There were 26,514 sold according to company records.

The clock and bakelite are in mint condition.

Can anyone tell me who designed this clock? It looks so similar to several clocks designed by Walter Dorwin Teague. I have one in mottled brown bakelite; it, too, works perfectly.
    Thanks for your help!

It is attributed to him, I'll check my reference at home and get back to you.

I checked Electrifying Time, and the author does not list anyone as the designer which means it was more than likely someone on the Telechron staff.
