I found this bear at a thrift shop recently, and just love him - however, I know nothing about him. There are no buttons, marks, or tags on him. There is a small tight loop of brown thread behind his left arm (location pointed out but not visible in photo - merely mentioned for possible tag or mark location purposes in case that were to help identify a maker). He is 16 inches, bluish gray in color, mohair(?), a horizontally-stitched nose, light brown glass eyes, larger wide-set ears, no claw stitching on paws, curved paws, jointed (including head), front and back center seam, and his body stuffing feels softer compared to his arms and legs which feel a little more crunchy and stiff. I've been scouring the internet trying to find a bear that looks like him, but to no avail. Any help identifying him would be greatly appreciated! I've named him Finn and will treasure him always whether I find out anything about him or not. :) Thanks!
He's very nice, but looks homemade to me. The brown loop of thread isn't at all visible in the photo.
