    Hi CW Gang:

    Found this yesterday too. Thought it just looked NEAT. Very UFO, Atomic Shape Singer Plastic case with very clean Button Hole maker inside with attachments. Nice Teal Blue Color, and Atomic shape. It just grabbed my eye, and I thought.......Why not.....as I have everything else here....LOL.

    Thanks for LOOKING // LOVING !!

      Oh yes, my gran owned two or three Singers, and each came with its add-ons in a kit like that. I passed on the oldest machine to my daughter along with kit and sewing bench. Another machine I gave to a favorite niece of hers, and kept one for me, even though I have a Brother sewing machine from the 70s that I use. Do they even teach girls how to sew anymore? Thanks for sharing, Rose, great memories. :)

      ~ @valentino97 --> No sorry do not have the machine anymore....SAD
      ~ @racer4four --> LOL, Looks like a littel UFO, Kinda....LOL
      ~ @fortapache --> Thanks Fort, you need to find one there for your home!!
      ~ @inky --> Thanks inky!! Everything back then was so UNIQUE !!
      ~ @katherinescollections --> Thanks, for the comment!! I do not know if they still teach sewing anymore. You would think so, along with some simple math skills too. I also wonder if the ** plastic ** of this sewing item could be MELMAC ( Melamine ) as it does kinda look like these?? I do not know??

      my mother has one just like this and she still uses it!

      My mother passed away a few years back and I was just going through some of her sewing items she had put in a plastic tub. I found this same item, but had no idea what it was really for other than her Singer Sewing machine, which I have. It still has all the items inside, just like yours, so that's reassuring that nothing is missing. The color is a soft pink. They may have come in several different colors. I thought the shape was odd too! Kind of funky!
      Now that I see your post, it does look like it came out of the atomic age!

      Thanks for sharing!

      Hi, Gruneichtime. :-)

      If the clam shell case for your mother's Singer buttonholer set is pink the attachments in it were designed for a specific subset of Singer sewing machines that have a slant-shank design:
