Manganese glazed 2 handled vase I got this at the same sale as the last vase was added in to the lot. This one looks to have the original receipt with it was tucked into the neck dated 1909? from a dry good's store not sure if it goes with it or not at least that old or older. 5 1/2 high and 6 across. ground bottom and number 110

it looks like a piece by stockton art pottery.

Stockton is my first impression as well - there could be other possibilities. Very nice.

Is that receipt from Northern California?
To waver a little on the Stockton assessment - I have only handled a couple pieces of that rather obscure California pottery and both have been marked. Because the other two pieces recently listed by grendl are Midwestern pieces, I'm thinking this is more likely Weller ("Louwelsa" was made in 500 shapes!) or some other Ohio River Valley pottery.

Hi Artfoot no the receipt is not from Northern California. But I did find a Stockton Vase with the same shape other than the glaze had more green in it. The person that owned it said it was Stockton Art Pottery. I also found other Stockton pieces that were not signed only having a Number on the bottom
