Cups and saucers are not usually what I buy
At estate sales but I think this set is special.It is finely made of delicate China and the decoration is wonderful.Any help on this as to the maker would be appreciated thanks.

The flag mark is that of Vantines, a San Fransisco importer of high quality pieces mostly from Japan from 1908-34.
The Japanese characters are probably the actual maker’s marks, which you may be able to identify at gotheborg.com.
Exquisite set. So fine and the design is different and beautiful.
