I just love this trophy vase, it has so much going on from bubbles and a splattering of color to the attached clear handles. This was a wonderful find at the goodwill, but I am really hoping that someone may know something about the who, when, and where it may have been made.

      What a beautiful vase.
At first glance I considered it might be Japanese (my bent!) because of the shape and colour, but the way the aventurine is distributed looks more European to me.
The handles have an Italian shape too I think.
I hope someone else can help more.

Thank you so much for your input ! I am just starting to learn about glass and I am so glad I found this wonderful web site ! Everyone seems so nice and helpful and oh my the beautiful art glass being posted is magnificent !

I think it is Polish. The handles are characteristic features of much Polish art glass, also the glass called "antico"with bubbles.Maybe Makora,Krosno,no.408 from their catalogue.

Thank You both for your input ! I have been looking around on line following both of your suggestions and I have found similarities with both Polish and Italian glass, but not enough to convince me of either one. I cannot seem to find anything that has both the bubbles as well as the spattering effect, it seems to be either one or the other, but not both.

Hi, Very Pretty Vase! I do not think it is Italian. In My opinion the base is not right for it. I see where Ivonne is going with Krosno as those little curls look like their work -- but then I do not know Polish glass very well.

The matte base is not typical of Murano. Champagne, if you want to look at some of my Murano Glass posted, Please Do.

** See if RICK55 can pop by too and give you his opinion.

Still lovely, and I would own this for sure !!
